Frequently asked Questions

Yes, The Reloader camera is reusable. Simply load a new roll of film into the camera once you have completed the previous one.

Check out our tutorial here demonstrating how to load The Reloader camera.

Please see the tutorial here demonstrating how to remove your film from the camera.

Make sure that your film isn’t exposed to any light when rewinding the roll back into the canister. Exposing your film to light will unfortunately ruin the photos.

Once you have completed your roll of film, you will need to visit a processing lab to develop your film photos. Use the store locator here to find your nearest local processing lab, or simple Google ‘processing labs near me’.

Your local processing lab can develop the photos as physical prints or digital scans, which are emailed to your phone. Processing times will vary based on the individual lab, however it often takes between 1-3 business days to receive your photos.

Yes! You will need 1x brand new AAA battery to power the flash. We recommend Duracell or Energizer branded batteries. Half-used batteries often do not have enough charge to power the flash - it needs to be brand new.

Yes, The Reloader camera is compatible with any brand of 35mm film. This can be purchased from any local camera store.

24 or 36 exposure film can be used inside The Reloader camera. This is the number of photos per roll of film.

We recommend using the flash at all times, unless you are shooting in bright direct sunlight. We recommend changing the battery inside your Reloader every 8 weeks. Unfortunately leaving the flash switched 'on' for an extended period of time will drain the battery. Simply load a brand new battery into the camera to power up the flash again.

Always carry your film in your hand luggage when travelling. The X-Ray scanners at customs used to inspect carry-on luggage use a low level of radiation and won’t cause noticeable damage to your film photos.
